Realistic or Distorted?

If we will noticed, this two people are sitting in a silent and cool place, that surrounded with lots of trees. We will now get what is the meaning of this kind of painting, maybe the boy is courting the girl or they were couples already. We will see the realistic of this painting, because until now, it is happening. Realistic painting are the visual arts that can easily understand the message of an art work or an painting. We will know quickly what is the meaning of that. As I read one of the meaning of the realistic art, I found out that it is their everyday character, and situation on their lives. Maybe it is true, because we all know that this shot is real.

This is a example of alteration or distorted art. If we see it at first, we cannot appreciate it. Because we cannot understand what is the message of it. We are not sure what the artist want to share for us. But for other people, it looks like a cool painting because of its uniqueness. Alteration or distorted art is hard to understand, you are not basing on what your thinking and what you are seeing in true life. It is easy to make but hard to understand. But if you this in your own and you are inspired in working on it, it will have a good result. Let's appreciate it! And try to do your own artworks, for sure you will like it!

For now, I prefer in distorted arts because it is easy to do. You just sit and imagine until you have an idea. Anything that comes to your mind, you can draw it. Unlike in realistic, if you want to draw something and you are not good at that like me, its so hard but it is a practice to you to draw it perfectly and detailed. Like me, I'm not good in drawing, but I'm trying. I ask for help to my classmates and they taught me on how to have a beautiful result. If you want to get something you must earned that and practice more.

It is a test!

Do you already experience this test? You have no idea what you will do, maybe you experience this and you  overcome it. You will experience this when you  have no idea what is going on and somebody gave you a work and it must be impromptu or you don't care what will happen to you . It is so nervous at first right? But you will try to overcome or to finished it successfully. It can help us to improve and express what is in our mind, and can improve our self confidence as well. Impromptu  works is one of the test on your career if you have a fast knowledge or idea to have a better works and if will give you a best output, maybe if you like this you will be recognize as professional. 

I already experience this much, and I experience this last Thursday in LPU. We and my classmates have no idea what we will do. Because that morning theres a program, it is called as PRISSA or Private Schools Athletic Association, at that morning we have a game in our Filipino, it is called as Amazing Race, and we go around the schools to find the clues and theres a lots of people coming from different schools. We don't have an idea what is going on, and when my classmate texted us that our professor, Ms. Anna that we need to go in gym. When we got there, it is the opening of the PRISAA and it was held and hosted in LPU.

But, my classmate told us that we will draw in our sketch pad, and the is about whats happening in the event, and it must based in a action or moves. It is impromptu, you have no idea what you will draw because you will focused much in the event, it is little bit nervous because you have no idea, and the other students and maybe the officers wondering what we are doing that time. But when the event finished, I have a drawing and just need to polished. I successfully finished it and passed it before the deadline. Lesson learned, that you will finished it well as if you have a trust in yourself that you can do it.

It is the reality.

As we back to our discussion last week, I think that the most influential Art for us is the modern art. We all know what is art, even though we didn't have a talent in painting or drawing, if the art we know is in our heart we will have a good and a better result.I know and you know too that we grow in the art of modern and it is popular until now. Many of the artist now is basing on their experience or they based their work in what they saw or  what they imagine. If we noticed in the modern art, we see and recognize that it is in the reality or present happening now.

Realism was an artistic movement that began in France in the 1850s. Many paintings depicted people at work,  the changes  by the Industrial and Commercial Revolution.. The popularity of such 'realistic' works grew with the introduction of photography,  a new visual source that created a desire for people to produce representations which look “objectively real.”. In the visual arts, realists render everyday characters, situations, dilemmas, and objects, all in a "true-to-life" manner. The artists simply focused on what was happening in front of them.This exhibition brings together for the first time the work of 68 American painters, sculptors, and photographers who explored a new mode of modern realism in the years bounded by the aftermath of the Great War and the onset of the Great Depression.

Modern realism focused on showing everyday, activities and life. Modern realism "begins from the position that truth can be discovered by the individual through the senses" and as such "it has its origins. and received its first full formulation by Thomas Reid in the middle of the eighteenth century.Since the rise of modern art, realism, realist, or realistic, has come to be primarily a stylistic description, referring to painting or sculpture that continues to represent things in a way that more or less date Now we know now when the modern art discoveries, for me this is the most influential art until now and maybe in the future generation too.

Mysterious Girl.

 Do you know who is she? Why she create? and why she has no eyebraws and eyelashes? These are some questions that we like to answer. This girl is so mysterious to us, until now. When we see the picture at first, the first thing that comes to our mind is why she doesn't have eyebrows? Is it unfinished? As I research about Mona Lisa, I knew more about her, she is a oil painting on poplar wood, the portrait was started by Da Vinci in 1503 and took about four years to complete. As he finished the painting, there are a lot of controversies that he face, a lot of debates that he encounter. There are two biggest mysteries about Mona Lisa, these are her identity and her smile. There are lot of theories about the identity of Mona Lisa. The Italians call her La Gioconda, The French call her La Joconde,provoking many thoughts and theories about the Mona Lisa. Most experts now believe that she is Lisa del Giocondo, the third wife of a wealthy Florentine silk merchant named Francesco del Giocondo.The title Mona Lisa simply means "Madam Lisa."

Still, the experts were confused about this kind of painting, there are a lot of theories that they discussed about her, they believe that she is the Duchess of Milan, Isabella of Aragon and they believe that this is a more recent thought that this is the feminine version of Da Vinci himself. Is she has no eyebraws? One of the scientist said that  it was not logical that Mona Lisa does not have any eyebrows or eyelashes but he discovered one hair of the eyebrow. Ohh! I was surprise when i saw this line, I cannot believe that this is true she has a eyebrows. Ofcourse, we know and we grow up that we believe that Mona Lisa doesn't have eyebrows this is her tagline, when we saw a person that have no such eyebrows we call them as like Mona Lisa. But now, I know now that that she has EYEBROWS. I cannot believe, but it's true! :)





 Another mysterious about this girl is her mysterious smile. The experts said that, the mystery behind the smile, art experts often refer to a painting technique called sfumato, which was developed by Da Vinci. In Italian, sfumato means "vanished" or "smoky," implying that the portrait is ambiguous and blurry, leaving its interpretation to the viewer's imagination. This technique uses a subtle blend of tones and colors to produce the illusion of form, depth and volume. When a person looks at the painting, the  focuses on her eyes, leaving the peripheral area on her mouth. Peripheral vision is less accurate and does not pick up details, so the shadows in her cheekbones augment the curvature of her smile.When the viewer looks directly at the woman's mouth, however, it does not pick up the shadows, and the portrait no longer appears to be smiling. Therefore, the appearance and disappearance of her smile really is an attribute of viewers' vision. This is one of the reasons why the painting has remained an enigma to art enthusiasts and perhaps the most famous painting in the world.

Creative Mind!

In Multimedia Arts, creativity is needed. We should have our own creations and originality. In enhancing creativity, people have their own strategies on how they create their work. Practice yourself is the best thing to do to have a cool and better work. Being curious in your surrounding can help and make a good work. Sometimes, we should ask help or suggestions to others especially in the persons you know who are experts or have an interest in creativity. We should have a lot of time for making this things to have a better work. We should have an inspirations so that it will give you a lots of idea and motivate a unique work. Challenge yourself in your own way, think that after creating it very well there's a reward waiting for you. But all of us has a skill in creativity, we should agree to that. But some did not show it, they just keep it. Creativity is based in our own way how we will do and what ideas comes in our mind. We have our own creativity, we should be proud to share it.Trust ourselves that we can do that!  Even though some of them did not appreciate, but lots of them loves it, we have our own opinions and own wants. We should accept what people say even if it is bad or good, because they are the one who will make you to strive more and become more creative. Comparing your work in others is hard to accept, but challenge or promise to yourself, that next time they will admire you and your work.

 BLOG.BLOG.BLOG! It's my first time to create blogs, and I want to thank Ms.A because she is the one who taught us about these. At first, I'm so confused how to used these because I don't know what will I write,  but when I have an idea about blogging, It was so interesting!Blogging is the easiest and shortest way to express our thoughts and opinions, and these is the way we can share to others what we know about. Now, we all know that we have so many ways to share our thoughts, like now we have social networking sites like FACEBOOK, TWITTER, TUMBLR and so many more. In these, we can post whats in our mind and share it to everyone. In blogging, even if you are an ordinary people, you can share and recognized by others and become a famous someday because of your interesting blogs. Blogging used today by everyone from large media to an ordinary people wanting to keep in touch with friends and family around the world.

But, we must have control posting our thoughts, we must think first before posting it. Its more interesting to read if the readers know that its your own thoughts and opinions.

If we will notice, the new media is known and popular to us.  We know this all a lot! Even children, if you will ask them about computers, they know more than you. They exposed a lot in these new media. Based on the research,two-thirds have a television set in their bedrooms, half have a VCR or DVD player,half have a video game console, and almost one-third have Internet access or a computer. Because people today spent more time in these new media, and this is part of our daily routine. 

Effects  of this in our lives?

In the past, when the media was not so strong we were quite about what is happening around us. But today we come to know very quickly what is happening around us. We have the access to all news channels that provide us the facts and updates. 

In today's modern society media has become a part of our life. Its duty is to inform, educate and entertain. But,the students today were exposed in a media environment. They can easily remember the impact of television programs on their own early lives. They can recall how they might have been influenced by product of advertisements and media celebrities. 

If you will asked now the children about what they usually play, they will say to you computer games, compare on what we do in our childhood. We are such innocent that time, we're not much familiar in computers. We always play outside, with our friends. But now, some of us are addicted to it.

Its time to RELAX!

                          

Here in the Philippines, We're experiencing different season. We have summer which we feel when March starts until the  May or June, but when the month of July or the last week of June, we already know that this is the month of rainy. They say that we will have a lot of typhoon that we will experience, so we should be ready all the time. But, when its raining, what we usually do?

In times that it is raining, everyone is bored RIGHT? Because we want to SLEEP and SLEEP and SLEEP all day! Because? It is cold, and everyone should agree to this that we are so lazy to do some things when it's raining, this is the time to relaxed and have some rest.

We usually spend our time in Surfing the net, we usually do that! Some of us are addicted in social working sites like Facebook of course.

We want to EAT and EAT and EAT! :) Especially hot foods, like coffee and noodles. And some snacks.Everyone loves COFFEE!Except me, I don't drink that, Unlike others they usually taste that, I often taste that. I'm not addicted to coffee! But I like coffee candies, Maybe I don't like hot coffee because I feel that my tongue bleeeds when I'm tasting it. :)

And, this is the time to study! I think it is a sign to us that we must study and finished our unfinished works.

For me, the best thing that I do when it's raining is to spend my time with my family, and have some bondings with them, even though its raining we usually go to mall, and have some time together,we miss it so much! Because, were now in college, we should not have absences, unlike in the high school. Especially now, that my mom is here, we usually have some bondings together, because this is the time that my family will complete again. :)

Super Highway! :)

               Yes! It's true, were in the modern generation, so everything around us is almost used of high technology! See? We have a Internet highway that will serve us to have a fast and reliable connection when we are surfing, I know now that even though that you have a fast connection, it still slow when your Computer and the memory is not compatible or it is full already! The networks and computers freely share information, the information being shared is essentially fast-moving and these is because of the Internet.Internet highway serve us a lot of  help when we are communicating with others, these are the one that will used.

 

  Just like a real road, the Transmission Control Protocol or (TIP/IP) is a collection of protocols or rules that serve the way electronic data travels from one machine or way to another across networks. There is no speed limit on the Internet highway. We can travel as fast as we can.

MMA is FUN! =)

                            

I have a BIG and HAPPY Family in Lyceum, that is the MMA. Were like sisters and brothers, right? At first, were not close to each other, the higher year and us. But, as the day passed by, we know each other and yet were close. Even if some of them I did not meet yet. I know that they will guide us, and hope that they can help us in our projects and give some advices and techniques that we will used in our next challenges that we will face. 

 In our General Assembly last Thursday, I met other year and Im so glad that we meet each other, the person that I see in the corridor, in the canteen, and in the restroom, is part of the MMA. We had a talk held by our very own Ms. A, about the organizations, the claygo and others, we had a election of officers, and our classmate Shammy is the P.R.O I think, and that day, we had our 1st picture, and our batch occupy the whole lobby. And after that,all the MMA students! We were so enjoy that moment, because we had a bonding with other year and ofcourse with Ms.A It's very memorable day for us, because we feel that were part of their family too they are so kind and so energetic.I had so much fun with them!We feel that we have a Mother, a Father, and a sisters and brothers, that will always at our side. And that is the MMA! Im proud that Im part of these.

Yeah! I'm back, I miss posting blogs :) Now, I will share about our  new topic which is Teamwork. This is the one of the most important trait to have as a  good result of a project, it is the ability to produce a productive team and build a teamwork environment. For all projects, an effective leader meets its project scope, stays on budget, and meets the project deadline. An ideal leader or members of the group make sure that all these goals are achieved, and that the team consistently works together and stays on tasks.Mostly all projects consists of teams, and as the leader or member, you rarely ever get the chance to personally chose who is in your team. Therefore, you as the interviewer must hire someone who is able to adapt in working with all different types of people. Also, a lot of groups and teams are being more resourceful now. so the ideal leader or member must be able to effectively work in a diversified environment.

  In my experiences, I think the teamwork is the most important role of every member, because in this activity or situation, you have a time to share or contribute your ideas, knowledge, skills and opinions with others, but working together to achieve a common goal/task. Every group should have a UNITY. Good teamwork behavior is recognized and rewarded. Teamwork is built into the organization culture, it is a part of 'the way we do things around here. Team work is also important to improve the relations among others,the level of bonding increases as a result of team work..And tasks are accomplished at a faster pace when it is done by a team rather than an individual.

High Tech!

  Are you aware of  new technologies today? How technology change communication? These are some questions that everyone should know.As civilization has evolved, so has communication technology. People continue to become more dependent on technological communication, such improvements will continue to be made. Before, I don't care about this, I don't mind it as long as I using technologies, I don't care where this come from. But, as i grow up, I realize and think about these. Where technology come from? How people before survive without this? Can people today survive without this? As a teenager, I grow up with lots of technologies around me, there's a lot of new technologies invented every year. As the world continues to move, so does the advancement of technology. Every year sheds light on improvements to yesterday's devices and new inventions appearing on the horizon.I prefer that people today, many cannot survive without technologies, the reason is because technologies is always at their side. Its true! Its hard for us if we are not using technologies, or the ways on how we communicate. But, in other side technology has used to help communication, Communication is used in families, among friends, in schools, and in government. The advancement of technology has helped to advance the ways in which we communicate with each other. One way technology has advanced communication is through electronic communication devices. Cell phones, social networking websites, email, and faxes are a few examples of electronic communication devices. These devices have helped to make communication more accessible and convenient.

Week 2: Why Communicate?

Imagine that we are not using this expressions. How we can understand each other? Its hard to guess what the person says if he/she did not communicate with you. Simple, communication is very important to us. Communication is the process of sharing information or thoughts with others. Its very hard to understand if we don't use this expressions by communicating with others, we communicate to express our emotions. We communicate to seek information, and most of all Communication makes a major part of our active life and is a social activity.
 

 This is the way of communicating, is it right? Its very easy to understand whats the person is saying even in simple body language, gestures or even facial expression only, in this way we will know what the person is saying.

See? There's a lot of things that we used to communicate, like email, phone and most of all the social communication (facebook, twitter) and etc.. I know that everyone had used it, and we are using it always. This are the things that we used if a person we like to talk is far from us.
